Key responsibilities:
- Support data acquisition for a 9-component seismic field dataset.
- Process and analyze seismic data in an applied geophysics research workflow.
- Contribute to inversion-focused geophysical interpretation and project outputs.
Requirements:
- Completed Master thesis in geophysics or a comparable discipline.
- Solid fundamentals in applied seismology and practical experience processing seismic data.
- Required: basic Python programming skills and Linux experience.
- Desirable: experience in refraction seismics and inversion problems.
- Interest in pursuing a PhD.
