Geophysicist

Your Tasks

• Plan, carry out, and evaluate geophysical measurements as part of unexploded ordnance / UXO surveying (e.g. magnetics, ground-penetrating radar).

• Interpret survey data to identify and locate suspect objects.

• Produce reports, assessments, and expert statements on the hazard situation.

• Support the design of survey concepts and coordination with authorities and project partners.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams from geology, ground engineering, and environmental technology.

• Contribute to innovative solutions and further development in geophysics and safety.

Requirements

• Completed degree in geophysics, applied geosciences, physics, or a related field.

• Ideally first experience in UXO clearance or geophysical field prospecting.

• Knowledge of geophysical measurement and evaluation technologies.

• Strong sense of responsibility, structured way of working, and teamwork.

• Class B driving licence and willingness to work in the field.
