About GeologyJobs

GeologyJobs is a niche job board built specifically for the geology and geoscience community. We connect employers—mining companies, consultancies, universities, government agencies—with geoscience professionals worldwide.

Unlike general-purpose job boards, GeologyJobs is designed with the geology industry in mind. Our tag-driven search system uses a geology-tailored taxonomy covering disciplines, skills, tools, and work settings that matter in this field. Whether you're looking for a hydrogeologist for a groundwater project or a GIS specialist for an exploration team, the right match is just a search away.

We believe in simplicity, speed, and transparency. No cluttered interfaces, no hidden fees—just a clean platform that helps geoscience talent find the right opportunity.

Why a Dedicated Geology Job Board?

The geoscience industry spans mining, oil & gas, environmental consulting, academia, infrastructure, and emerging sectors like geothermal energy. Professionals in this field have highly specialized skills that general job boards don't cater to well.

GeologyJobs bridges this gap by offering targeted filtering by discipline, tools, industry sector, and experience level—making it faster for both employers and job seekers to find the right fit.

Founder & Developer

Hi! I'm Luis, the founder and developer behind GeologyJobs. I studied Technology & Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where I developed a deep appreciation for both the technical and managerial sides of building products.

As a passionate traveler, I've explored incredible places around the world—Australia, Indonesia, the USA, Namibia, Malaysia, Japan, and more. These experiences gave me a firsthand look at the diverse geological landscapes and the professionals who study and work with them.

I noticed that geoscience professionals often struggle to find industry-specific job listings among the noise of general job boards. That's why I built GeologyJobs—a focused, minimalist platform that serves the geology community directly.
