Job Responsibilities
- Technical responsibility for own projects in near-surface geothermal energy
- Baseline investigations, planning, and sizing of geothermal systems for heating/cooling
- Work on systems using borehole heat exchangers, groundwater wells, and thermally activated building components
- Communication with specialist planners, permitting authorities, and clients
- Preparation of hydrogeological reports, specifications, and related documentation
- Site supervision of drilling and well construction/installation works
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Geology / Geoscience (Diploma, B.Sc., M.Sc.) or equivalent
- Professional experience with strong knowledge in near-surface geothermal projects
- Ideally software experience with common design/modeling tools (e.g., EED, PILESIM2, FEFLOW)
- Very good German language skills
- Independent working style and strong teamwork mindset
- Driving license class B
After onboarding, the role is expected to develop toward project leadership responsibility across concept, costing, execution, presentation, and billing.
